SpenView Publications publishes this third collection of short stories on the life of Sir Stuart Bell MP entitled Softly In The Dusk.
The stories deal with Stuart's quest to become a self-taught barrister, his desire again to be an author of fiction, and his journey into politics, taking him from Paris back to his roots in the North-East of England. A long journey of some fifty years, from a house in slum alley in a pit village to a maid's room in Paris, to a house in Lys-Chantilly and back to the United Kingdom to seek a seat in the House of Commons.
